Will the handouts be available digitally? Or are they strictly print?
If you purchase the handout add on, this will include a digital PDF version. The same is true for the item cards, paradox cards, and any other paper-based accessories.
The handouts are also included in the VTT Bundle and the Digital Asset Bundle.

How do I get add-ons?
Simple. When you choose a tier, you can add add-ons. If you don’t choose them, you can hit ‘manage your pledge’, ‘change your pledge’, and add them.
You’ll have another chance to increase your pledge and purchase add-ons when we send out our backerkit surveys, so don’t worry about missing out.

Can I upgrade my book covers to Deluxe? Can I get the slip case?
Yes! Once the campaign ends and we move to Backerkit, there will be a question asking whether you want to upgrade the covers for Zaman’s Guide or Cradle of the Chronowyrm to Deluxe, and/or if you want to add a slip case.
The slip cases come with all three books (Zaman’s, Cradle, and the Art Book), and the case itself comes in two flavours: Core and Deluxe. The Core slip case comes with all the Core covers of Zaman’s and Cradle, while the Deluxe case comes with the Deluxe covers. There is only one cover option for the Art Book.

I heard there were free dice!? How do I get free dice!?
Do two things (1) Back the campaign during the Kickstarter (not after, as a late backer). (2) There are three routes (a) Back at a physical tier (Book, Game-ready, Core Box, Deluxe Box, or All-in). (b) Back at the PDF tier and add one of the hardcover books (Zaman’s Guide, Cradle of the Chronowyrm or the Art of Zaman’s Guide) (c) Back at the Digital Deluxe tier and, in Backerkit (2-3 weeks after the Kickstarter campaign is finished), choose one of the options to add a physical book.
Long story short, if you back the campaign during the Kickstarter and are receiving a hardcover book, you will get the dice (if you want them).

What can I expect to find in this Kickstarter? What’s the difference between the two books?
Zaman’s Guide is a campaign for 5e D&D (2014 and 2024 rulesets). It has two facets: a sourcebook (ZGET, Zaman’s Guide to the End of Time) and an adventure book (CotC, Cradle of the Chronowyrm).
ZGET contains: The Paradox System, Enhanced Mounted Combat, Races, Classes, The Last City: Kasbat Azzaman, Magic Items, Spells, Monsters.
CotC contains: Adventures, Familiars, A Horde of Monsters, A Few Spells, and (MORE) Magic Items.

What’s going to happen with tariffs?
The situation on US tariffs that apply to products manufactured in China is volatile. We had planned to eat the cost of the 20% tariff applied early in 2024. However, as of April 3rd, it sits at 54%. Where it will be by the time our cargo hits the ocean is anyone’s guess. It could go up or down. If it goes down to 20% or lower, you won’t be charged anything extra. If it’s above 20%, we’re going to have to share the costs of tariffs.
We won’t bake tariff costs into the price of products, as that would be unfair to folks who don’t reside in the US (Note: none of the fulfillment hubs except the US charge tariffs on gaming products manufactured in China).
How Much Will Tariffs Cost? If you are in any country except the US, nothing. You’ll still have your country’s VAT (equivalent of the US’ sales tax), but no tariff duties. If you’re in the US, tariffs are applied to the manufacturing cost of the product. That’s typically 10-20% of the product’s MSRP. So, if you back the $60 book tier, and the book costs $10 to manufacture, the tariff duties will be 0.54 × $10.00 = $5.40.
When Will This Be Charged? Tariffs get ‘locked in’ at the time the goods clear customs at the destination (US) port. We will wait until after we know what the costs are to charge both shipping and tariffs. Hopefully, by the time this fulfills in late 2026, the whole thing will be resolved.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
