Astral Anomaly Dice And DnD Shorts
So it turns out our good friend Will from DnD Shorts decided he’d like you guys to have even more time to get some free dice! (We said no time travel but Will didn’t listen!) So how do you get the hookup on the Astral Anomaly dice set for FREE?
Once we move to our pledge manager, Backerkit, everyone who backed a physical product and whose Kickstarter timestamp is no later than 9am PDT on April 11th or Used theDnD Shorts link will have the choice to add a complimentary set of dice when they fill out their survey.

A brand new subclass for the Tamer, the Outrider. Ever wished that you could ride your tames into battle like a jousting knight? Well this is your chance! This subclass focuses on fighting astride your loyal companions and gives the Tamer a more martial inclination, so that they can survive in close quarters and cut their foes down with steel as well as claw!

We have been saying for a while that we weren’t going to do another Bender subclass in Zaman’s Guide. Then we went back in time and changed our own minds about it right before the Kickstarter began!
This subclass is a master of thrown combat, augmenting their weapons with elemental motes so that they can be manipulated mid-air!

Mount Equipment Unlocked! Next Stretch Goal: Spellslinger

Well you heard about this already in the last update what… 10 minutes ago? But here’s some more sneak peeks:
Pegasus Wings, deployable wings for when you mis-time that jump.
Saddlebags of Holding, self-explanatory, comes with unlimited hay.
Blinders of Frightening, blinders that frighten other peoples’ mounts!
Next Goal: $200k - Spellslinger Subclass
A 5th subclass for the Gunner! The Spellslinger is a ⅓ caster (like the Eldritch Knight and Arcane Trickster) that combines fireballs with bullets. It uses Charisma as its spellcasting ability (its spells are powered by panache and pizzazz), gains Moxie when it casts Evocation and Divination spells, and can spend Moxie to change the damage type of spells.
Send our KS to someone who loves Back to the Future, the Mummy, Stargate, or Doctor Who!

Well… that was obscenely quick. Thanks for getting us off to a flying start! We’re all so humbled, adrenaline-fueled, and sleep-deprived. Let’s talk about the stretch goal already hit, the next upcoming, and our good friends at Hit Point Press.
Stretch Goal Unlocked: Slugger Subclass
We had a pre-launch stretch goal; if we could get 4,000 page follows we’d add a new Gunner subclass to the book (and also to the alpha GUNNER playtest). We didn’t hit 4k, but we learned of a bug that stopped mobile app uses from being able to follow a campaign sooooo….. It’s unlocked anyway!!
Introducing the slugger:
Sluggers are melee-focused whirlwinds of bullets and blades. Here’s some flavour!
What’s even more painful than a bullet to the gut? A point-blank bullet to the gut, of course. Sluggers exchange the relative safety of distance and cover for the exhilarating chaos of close-quarters combat, leveraging their superior agility to run circles around their foes and bring them down with a combination of blade and bullet. Detractors accuse these Gunners of simply covering for their poor aim, but curiously enough, they rarely voice this opinion within earshot of one.
There are many reasons why you may have chosen to be a Slugger. Perhaps you’re a thrill seeker who thrives on high-risk, high-reward tactics. You could be a maverick inventor who sought to merge firearms with melee weapons against the recommendations of your colleagues and in flagrant violation of local safety ordinances. Or maybe you do have bad aim—no one needs to know! Whichever the case, you’re among the rare few Gunners whose foes desperately wish would keep their distance.
Next Stretch Goal: $100k - Mount Equipment
Our next stretch goal is all about pimping your ride. Along with our enhanced mounted combat (more on that in a future update), this stretch goal brings you new items like:
All-terrain horseshoes, run on water! Or sand! Or mist! Or grass, I guess.
Self-eject saddle, team Sprocket, blasting off again!
Horn-mounted ballista, turn your steed into a siege weapon.
Tandem saddle, a little chiropractic magic, and you can fit two riders on one zebra.

Our good friends at HPP have their follow up to Humblewood! You might know this original book as being the first D&D Kickstarter to break $1m, or from being on D&D Beyond. Well, they’re back with a PLETHORA of adorable animal races and an adventure to prevent an Ice Age. This book takes you beyond the Humblewood:
Hit Point Press has fulfilled over a dozen Kickstarters and this project has a tonne of goodies. They have a new class: The Gadgeteer, and subclasses like the Oath of Mysteries Paladin and Way of the Wrangler Monk. This standalone Humblewood sequel is great for fans of Redwall, The Secret of NIMH, and Bloomburrow! I’ll let them tell the story themselves:
